Health care through Family Focus Home Health is an alternative to extended hospital stays or a nursing home. Home health care allows individuals and their families to take an active roll in their care and recovery.
Home health care shortens and, in some cases, even eliminates hospital stays. Medicaid and most major insurance plans cover the cost of qualified home health care.
We service Columbus (Franklin County) plus surrounding areas, Delaware (Delaware County), Lancaster, (Fairfield County), Newark (Licking County), and Mount Vernon (Knox County).
Anyone can request Family Focus Home Health services. Our Registered Nurse will prepare a treatment plan in conjunction with the patient and his or her physician.

We offer SKILLED NURSING. Our nurses provide head to toe assessments as well as treatment for wounds, dressing changes, IV set-ups, insulin injections, as well as medication management and patient / family training and education.
We offer HOME HEALTH AIDE services. Our Aides can provide assistance to patients who struggle with daily activities such as getting in or out of bed, toileting, bathing, dressing, preparing meals, cleaning, sweeping, laundry, grocery shopping, etc...
We can provide PHYSICAL THERAPY. The therapist will go to the patient's home on the days and times convenient for the patient. We can also provide Occupational or Speech Therapy when ordered.
We can arrange for a visiting PODIATRIST. Patients with Diabetes or other issues, benefit greatly from this service.
Our staff is qualified to provide highly skilled Nursing care. Family Focus Home Health provides services that include, but are not limited to:
* Diabetes & Cardiovascular Teaching & Management.
* Pain Management
* Tube Feeding
* Disease Process Teaching & Management
* Wound/Decubitus Care
* Foley Catheter Management
* Venipuncture & Urine Collection for Lab Tests
* Intramuscular Injections, Medication Administration & Set-up
* Family Teaching and Education
Each client is assigned a nurse and/or a home health aide as ordered by your physician. Visits are scheduled according to the Care Plan established in coordination between your physician and the Registered Nurse.
Family Focus wants to keep you at home with your family. If you can't leave home - or - don't want to leave home, we can arrange for a visiting physician, podiatrist, mobile X-ray, or physical therapy to come to you!. Having these options can make life much easier for you and those who care for you. You don't have to use visiting professionals, but they are available IF you want them.
We can also provide assistance with those daily activities that aren’t as easy as they used to be, so you may continue to live in your own home - with confidence. Your family can feel secure knowing you are being well cared for. Family input and assistance is always welcome!
We accept Medicaid, Passport, CareStar, Waivers, MyCareOhio Aetna and Molina, Waivers, D.O.D.D., Workers Comp., VA., Private Pay, and many other insurances.
